Zion Suzuki is a tall, athletic Japan goalkeeper and one of the brightest young keepers in the game. He came through at Urawa Red Diamonds before moving to Europe with Sint-Truiden in Belgium, then earned a switch to Parma in Italy's Serie A. Commanding in his box and quick off his line, he has taken over as the Samurai Blue's first choice.

He kept a comfortable clean sheet in Japan's 4-0 win over Tunisia at the 2026 World Cup.
