Yassine Bounou

Yassine Bounou, known as Bono, is Morocco's goalkeeper and one of the standout figures of their golden generation. Born in Montreal and developed in Spain, he won a Europa League with Sevilla before moving to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

A commanding shot-stopper, he was the hero of Morocco's run to the 2022 World Cup semi-finals, saving penalties against Spain, and remains the bedrock of the Atlas Lions.
