Trezeguet

Trézéguet, full name Mahmoud Hassan, is an Egypt left winger nicknamed after the French striker David Trezeguet. Direct and a threat in the box, he built his career across Europe with Kasımpaşa, Aston Villa, İstanbul Başakşehir and Trabzonspor before returning home to Al Ahly. He is a mainstay of the national team at his second World Cup.

He came off the bench to head Egypt's third goal against New Zealand, sealing the Pharaohs' first-ever victory at a World Cup.
