Lionel Mpasi is a DR Congo goalkeeper, an agile, brave shot-stopper born in France who chose to represent the Congo of his heritage. He plies his trade in French football and has made the number one shirt his own for the Léopards.

He was magnificent against Colombia, making eight saves to keep DR Congo level until a late goal finally beat him.
