Jhon Córdoba is a Colombia striker, a big, powerful centre-forward and strong aerial presence who has scored consistently across Europe, most recently with Krasnodar in Russia. He gives Colombia a focal point up top.

He went close in the opening minute against Portugal, heading a Luis Díaz cross narrowly over the bar.
