Garry Rodrigues is a Cape Verde winger, a Dutch-born, well-travelled attacker with pace and trickery who has played top-level football at Galatasaray, PAOK and in Saudi Arabia. He is one of the more experienced heads in the squad.

He teed up Cape Verde's best chance of the night in stoppage time against Saudi Arabia, cutting the ball back for an open-net opportunity that went begging.
