Finn Surman

Finn Surman is a New Zealand central defender who plays his club football for Portland Timbers in MLS, having moved there from Wellington Phoenix. Composed on the ball and strong in the air, he is one of the young building blocks of the All Whites.

He marked his World Cup with a sensational header to put New Zealand ahead against Egypt, before the Pharaohs hit back to win 3-1.
