Cyle Larin is a Canadian striker and his country's all-time leading men's goalscorer. Born in Brampton, Ontario, he announced himself in Major League Soccer with Orlando City, where he was named 2015 Rookie of the Year and set a then-record for goals by a first-year player.
A move to Europe followed: Beşiktaş in Turkey, then Club Brugge in Belgium, a loan at Real Valladolid, and a transfer to Mallorca in Spain. Tall, direct and a natural penalty-box finisher, he has been a fixture of Canada's rise — part of the squad that reached the 2022 World Cup.
At the 2026 finals he came off the bench to score Canada's 78th-minute equaliser against Bosnia at BMO Field, earning the nation its first-ever World Cup point — and doing it on home soil.
