Bart Verbruggen

Bart Verbruggen is a Netherlands goalkeeper known for his composure, his shot-stopping and his comfort with the ball at his feet. He came through at Anderlecht in Belgium before a move to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League, where he established himself as the first-choice keeper, and he has since taken the gloves for the national team.

He produced a man-of-the-match display in the Netherlands' 5-1 win over Sweden, keeping the score down with a string of saves as the Swedes poured forward.
