Agustín Canobbio is a Uruguay winger who plays his club football in Brazil, where he has turned out for Athletico Paranaense and Fortaleza. The son of former Uruguay international Fabián Canobbio, he is a direct, hard-running wide player who carries a goal threat.

He struck in first-half stoppage time against Cape Verde, finishing off a Maximiliano Araújo assist to complete a quick Uruguayan turnaround in a 2-2 draw.
